# Prepper App Pro vs StayReady Kits

The clearest difference is update cadence: StayReady Kits at every 2 weeks against Prepper App Pro's every 6 months. StayReady Kits also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prepper App Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StayReady Kits sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prepper App Pro ships an update every 6 months, StayReady Kits every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
