# TuTuPlay vs Par

The clearest difference is rating: Par at 3.5 against TuTuPlay's 2.8. Par also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). TuTuPlay's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 0%) and ratings volume (9 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Par holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of TuTuPlay's written reviews are positive against 0% of Par's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TuTuPlay ships an update every 3 weeks, Par every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
