# StudyFetch vs Brain Brew

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brain Brew at 100% against StudyFetch's 33%. Brain Brew also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). StudyFetch's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 5) and chart position (#110 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Brain Brew sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Brew holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 15K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of StudyFetch's written reviews are positive against 100% of Brain Brew's.

StudyFetch ships an update every 10 days, Brain Brew fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
