# StudyFetch vs LectureScribe

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LectureScribe at 100% against StudyFetch's 33%. LectureScribe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). StudyFetch's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and LectureScribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LectureScribe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of StudyFetch's written reviews are positive against 100% of LectureScribe's.

StudyFetch ships an update every 8 days, LectureScribe every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
