# StudyFetch vs Socranotes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Socranotes at 100% against StudyFetch's 32%. Socranotes also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). StudyFetch's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 4) and chart position (#108 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Socranotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Socranotes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 14K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of StudyFetch's written reviews are positive against 100% of Socranotes's.

StudyFetch ships an update every 8 days, Socranotes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
