# StudyFetch vs ScanQuiz

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ScanQuiz at 100% against StudyFetch's 33%. ScanQuiz also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). StudyFetch's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ScanQuiz sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScanQuiz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 15K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of StudyFetch's written reviews are positive against 100% of ScanQuiz's.

StudyFetch ships an update weekly, ScanQuiz every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
