# StudyFetch vs NoteMate

StudyFetch and NoteMate both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of NoteMate's written reviews are positive against 33% of StudyFetch's. StudyFetch's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 5) and chart position (#123 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NoteMate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for StudyFetch against 4.8 for NoteMate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 15K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of StudyFetch's written reviews are positive against 100% of NoteMate's.

StudyFetch ships an update every 8 days, NoteMate every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
