# BeFreeVPN vs Barsik

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Barsik at 100% against BeFreeVPN's 60%. Barsik also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeFreeVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Barsik sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
