# Choosewise vs Amber

The clearest difference is ads: Amber at none against Choosewise's shown. Choosewise's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Choosewise sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Amber sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Choosewise ships an update every 3 weeks, Amber fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
