# ProxyTap vs DgoodgVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: DgoodgVPN at every 9 days against ProxyTap's monthly. ProxyTap's advantage is chart position (#166 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProxyTap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and DgoodgVPN sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProxyTap ships an update monthly, DgoodgVPN every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
