# OrbitNote vs Clicker Writer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Clicker Writer at free against OrbitNote's free with in-app purchases. OrbitNote's advantage is ratings volume (60 vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OrbitNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Clicker Writer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OrbitNote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OrbitNote has 60 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of OrbitNote's written reviews are positive against 43% of Clicker Writer's.

OrbitNote ships an update every 4 weeks, Clicker Writer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
