# Reliant vs Pulse Connection

The clearest difference is rating: Reliant at 4.9 against Pulse Connection's 4.5. Reliant also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months). Pulse Connection's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reliant holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliant has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reliant ships an update every 5 weeks, Pulse Connection every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
