# Reliant vs Tide Laundromat

The clearest difference is rating: Reliant at 4.9 against Tide Laundromat's 3.7. Reliant also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (21K vs 28). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reliant holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliant has 21K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Reliant's written reviews are positive against 50% of Tide Laundromat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reliant ships an update every 4 weeks, Tide Laundromat every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
