# Reliant vs Play Pal!

The clearest difference is rating: Reliant at 4.9 against Play Pal!'s 3.0. Reliant also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reliant holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliant has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reliant ships an update every 5 weeks, Play Pal! every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
