# Reliant vs Scentelligent

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Reliant at 21K against Scentelligent's 5. Reliant also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Scentelligent's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Reliant against 5.0 for Scentelligent. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliant has 21K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reliant ships an update every 4 weeks, Scentelligent every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
