# Note vs Simple

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Simple at none against Note's 2. Note's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Simple asks for nothing beyond the download.

Note ships an update every 11 days, Simple every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
