# FoxNotes vs Wisply

The clearest difference is update cadence: FoxNotes at every 2 weeks against Wisply's every 4 weeks. FoxNotes also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Wisply's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FoxNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Wisply sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FoxNotes ships an update every 2 weeks, Wisply every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
