# Speedometer vs Speedometer Ultra

The clearest difference is ads: Speedometer at none against Speedometer Ultra's shown. Speedometer also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (42 vs 1). Speedometer Ultra's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Speedometer Ultra sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speedometer Ultra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer has 42 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Speedometer's written reviews are positive against 75% of Speedometer Ultra's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
