# Seaskills vs STCW Electro

The clearest difference is device support: Seaskills at 3 against STCW Electro's 1. Seaskills also leads on iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seaskills sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and STCW Electro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Seaskills ships an update every 2 months, STCW Electro every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
