# Summary vs AI

The clearest difference is chart position: Summary at #21 against AI's unranked. Summary also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and AI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, AI every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
