# Summary vs Noterly

The clearest difference is rating: Summary at 4.7 against Noterly's 3.0. Summary also leads on ratings volume (56K vs 3) and chart position (#20 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Noterly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Summary holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summary has 56K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, Noterly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
