# Gazing vs ScripterCam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ScripterCam at 100% against Gazing's 19%. ScripterCam also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Gazing's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 2) and chart position (#59 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gazing sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and ScripterCam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScripterCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gazing has 2.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of Gazing's written reviews are positive against 100% of ScripterCam's.
