# Brzzy Weather vs Solstix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Solstix at every 3 days against Brzzy Weather's every 3 weeks. Solstix also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Brzzy Weather's advantage is ratings volume (133 vs 3) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brzzy Weather sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Solstix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solstix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brzzy Weather has 133 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Brzzy Weather's written reviews are positive against 100% of Solstix's.

Brzzy Weather ships an update every 3 weeks, Solstix every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
