# Homework Scanner vs QuizScanner

The clearest difference is rating: Homework Scanner at 5.0 against QuizScanner's 4.0. Homework Scanner also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). QuizScanner's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework Scanner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and QuizScanner sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.39 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework Scanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Homework Scanner ships an update every 5 months, QuizScanner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
