# Trim vs GLP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GLP at 100% against Trim's 50%. GLP also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 9 days). Trim's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GLP sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Trim asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GLP has 62 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Trim's written reviews are positive against 100% of GLP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trim ships an update every 9 days, GLP every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
