# Lightning Tracker‎ vs Lightning Tracker with Alerts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lightning Tracker with Alerts at 100% against Lightning Tracker‎'s 8%. Lightning Tracker with Alerts also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Lightning Tracker‎'s advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (172 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lightning Tracker‎ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Lightning Tracker with Alerts sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lightning Tracker‎ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lightning Tracker‎ has 172 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Lightning Tracker‎'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Lightning Tracker with Alerts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
