# Loop vs Koup

The clearest difference is rating: Koup at 5.0 against Loop's 4.1. Koup also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Loop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Koup holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop has 117 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Loop ships an update daily, Koup every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
