# mph vs Phone Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: mph at 4.6 against Phone Tracker's 1.8. mph also leads on ratings volume (75 vs 5). Phone Tracker's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mph sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Phone Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mph holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mph has 75 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of mph's written reviews are positive against 25% of Phone Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
