# Run with Saints vs Saint Steps

The clearest difference is rating: Saint Steps at 4.9 against Run with Saints's 4.4. Saint Steps also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (370 vs 22). Run with Saints's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Saint Steps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Run with Saints asks for nothing beyond the download.

Saint Steps holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saint Steps has 370 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Run with Saints's written reviews are positive against 79% of Saint Steps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Run with Saints ships an update every 5 months, Saint Steps every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
