# A vs Derivon

The clearest difference is ads: A at none against Derivon's shown. A also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Derivon's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Derivon sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A ships an update every 2 weeks, Derivon every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
