# Study Note vs Site

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Site at none against Study Note's 3. Site also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Study Note's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (24 vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Site asks for nothing beyond the download.

Site holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study Note has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Study Note ships an update weekly, Site every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
