# Epyst vs ScriptPace

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScriptPace at daily against Epyst's fortnightly. Epyst's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epyst sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and ScriptPace sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Epyst against 5.0 for ScriptPace. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Epyst has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Epyst ships an update fortnightly, ScriptPace daily. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
