# Egoist vs GymCommit

The clearest difference is update cadence: GymCommit at every 6 days against Egoist's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Egoist sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and GymCommit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Egoist ships an update every 5 weeks, GymCommit every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
