# 10000 Hours vs 10,000 Hours

10000 Hours and 10,000 Hours both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of 10,000 Hours's written reviews are positive against 56% of 10000 Hours's. 10000 Hours's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 10000 Hours sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 10,000 Hours sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for 10000 Hours against 4.7 for 10,000 Hours. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 10000 Hours has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of 10000 Hours's written reviews are positive against 100% of 10,000 Hours's.

10000 Hours ships an update every 2 months, 10,000 Hours every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
