# ElectionDeflection vs PolitiShield

The clearest difference is monetization model: ElectionDeflection at freemium against PolitiShield's subscription. ElectionDeflection also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (37 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElectionDeflection sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and PolitiShield sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for ElectionDeflection against 4.3 for PolitiShield. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ElectionDeflection has 37 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ElectionDeflection ships an update every 5 days, PolitiShield fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
