# 听脑AI vs Record Lectures

The clearest difference is monetization model: 听脑AI at free against Record Lectures's freemium. 听脑AI also leads on ratings volume (49 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Record Lectures's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 听脑AI sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Record Lectures sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Record Lectures holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 听脑AI has 49 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of 听脑AI's written reviews are positive against 75% of Record Lectures's.

听脑AI ships an update weekly, Record Lectures every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
