# AI Note Taker vs Memorae

The clearest difference is rating: AI Note Taker at 4.5 against Memorae's 3.3. AI Note Taker also leads on ratings volume (595 vs 37). Memorae's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Memorae sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 595 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of AI Note Taker's written reviews are positive against 36% of Memorae's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Note Taker ships an update every 3 weeks, Memorae every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
