# Active Goals vs Walklytics

Active Goals and Walklytics are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Active Goals sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Walklytics sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Active Goals ships an update fortnightly, Walklytics every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
