# Ruby Chat vs PapiBang

The clearest difference is rating: Ruby Chat at 4.8 against PapiBang's 2.8. Ruby Chat also leads on review sentiment (56% vs 18%) and ratings volume (320 vs 56). PapiBang's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ruby Chat sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and PapiBang sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ruby Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ruby Chat has 320 ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two.
