# TruPass Skipspy vs Extra

The clearest difference is rating: Extra at 5.0 against TruPass Skipspy's 2.6. TruPass Skipspy's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TruPass Skipspy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Extra sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Extra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TruPass Skipspy has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TruPass Skipspy ships an update every 5 days, Extra every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
