# Midify vs TapThatStream

The clearest difference is update cadence: Midify at every 10 days against TapThatStream's every 2 months. Midify also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Midify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and TapThatStream sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Midify ships an update every 10 days, TapThatStream every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
