# Mister Keyboard vs The Big Keyboard

The clearest difference is price: Mister Keyboard at Free against The Big Keyboard's $1.99. Mister Keyboard also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (95 vs 13). The Big Keyboard's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Mister Keyboard is free to download; The Big Keyboard costs $1.99 up front. Mister Keyboard sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. The Big Keyboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mister Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mister Keyboard has 95 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Mister Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 64% of The Big Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mister Keyboard ships an update weekly, The Big Keyboard every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
