# SimplyWise vs GroundUp

The clearest difference is ads: GroundUp at none against SimplyWise's shown. GroundUp also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). SimplyWise's advantage is ratings volume (41K vs 3) and chart position (#12 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimplyWise sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GroundUp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $79.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GroundUp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimplyWise has 41K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of SimplyWise's written reviews are positive against 100% of GroundUp's.

SimplyWise ships an update monthly, GroundUp weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
