# Translator Keyboard vs Takeback

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Takeback at 75% against Translator Keyboard's 37%. Takeback also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Translator Keyboard's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 2) and chart position (#100 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Translator Keyboard sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Takeback sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Takeback holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Translator Keyboard has 8.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of Translator Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 75% of Takeback's.

Translator Keyboard ships an update every 2 weeks, Takeback every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
