# Constella vs Audionotes

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Audionotes at 97 against Constella's 10. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Constella sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Audionotes sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Constella against 4.8 for Audionotes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audionotes has 97 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Constella's written reviews are positive against 89% of Audionotes's.

Constella ships an update every 10 days, Audionotes weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
