# Wordy vs Cleanote

The clearest difference is ads: Cleanote at none against Wordy's shown. Cleanote also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wordy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Cleanote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
