# LingUp vs AI tutor

The clearest difference is update cadence: LingUp at every 10 days against AI tutor's every 2 months. AI tutor's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingUp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and AI tutor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LingUp ships an update every 10 days, AI tutor every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 8, 2026.
