# Contestify vs MyLagosApp

The clearest difference is rating: Contestify at 5.0 against MyLagosApp's 4.3. Contestify also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). MyLagosApp's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Contestify holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyLagosApp has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Contestify ships an update every 3 weeks, MyLagosApp every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
