# BG Remover vs Auto Timestamp

The clearest difference is rating: Auto Timestamp at 4.8 against BG Remover's 3.0. Auto Timestamp also leads on ratings volume (48 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Auto Timestamp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auto Timestamp has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
