# Self App vs Vision Loop

The clearest difference is ads: Vision Loop at none against Self App's shown. Vision Loop also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Self App's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Self App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Vision Loop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
